98 XJ keyless remote reprogram?

I bought a keyless remote for my 98 xj and need to program it, anyone know how besides going to the dealer?

You have to go to the dealer. You don't reprogram the remote -- you reprogram the vehicle body control module to recognize the new remote's code. Be sure to take the old remote, too, because the process wipes the codes out and starts over, so they have to program in the one you already have as well as the new one.
