98 XJ 2wd Part out

so I have access to my boss's 98 that he overheated and blew the radiator and possibly the head on recently, he's allowing me to pull off whatever I want / need off it. its a 98 2wd with the 4.0 & AW4, let me know if you would be interested in anything off it before he sends it to scrap. the obvious stuff will be taken off and kept for spares (alternator, starter, etc.) and i'll be taking the entire interior to swap into my 96 but almost everything else is up for grabs.

Also, if anyone out there would be interested in the body for a project build or something let me know, he'll only hold onto it for a few more weeks.
 
what color is the exterior?
 
just FYI, im not sure if yall's locations are correct on your profile and im not trying to be rude here by saying im not interested in shipping parts. I just don't have the time or the resources to spend trying to ship something.

I googled your location are you outside of Houston? If so that's only about 3.5hrs from me. For free stuff I'll drive that far :)
 
I damaged my 2000 XJ driver door this weekend. Is this white with electric windows and doorlocks?

Any chance of a pic?

yes it is white with power everything, however I will be stealing most of the interior panels for an interior swap into mine. but the rest is ok. I'll see about posting a picture if I get the chance.
 
OK, I need the door... I do not need the interior panels.
I'd like a pic ..... but... what is the asking price?
I live in Waco area.

as soon as I have a price and/or a pic, i'll let you know. im actually headed up to Waco near the end of the month, hopefully I can get it by then & fit it in my wife's car. I know exactly where your at too, my wife's from Mcgregor, so your not far from where were goin. PM me your # and i'll see if i can send you a pic.

Does anyone know... does a 98 door fit the 2000? I am pretty sure it does but looking for any experience.

got it, thanks! As far as I know there shouldn't be any problems, the body was pretty much the same from 97-2002, but I wouldn't consider myself an expert on this either (yet).

Im looking to strip this thing down at the end of this month, so I could probably get it to you or meet you early February, would that work for you?
 
just wanted to give an update, im looking to get this whole thing and strip it down completely in a matter of days. just wondering if anyone wants to help wrench on it or if anyone needs anything off it or wants to trade parts etc..
 
just wanted to give an update on this guy. I got her in this weekend and started looking her over, the body is in great shape, nothing wrong that I could tell, except a few small paint chips and scratches. its the 2wd sport edition with the chrystler 8.25 & a new tow hitch (not factory) the drivers side headlight bezel is missing and the bumpers have a little rust but other than that everything looks to be in top shape, except for the motor... i'll be starting to tear into it later this week getting all the parts that need off of it. i'll be selling off the rolling chassis as a whole with the title and everything. With some time and effort I think this thing would be the perfect starting point for a jeepspeed build...

Also, wanted to mention that the plastic trim pieces are looking a little rough, and the one above the rear license plate is busted. just wanted to be clear, but I don't think anyone cares about plastic trim, unless maybe your a girl... :-)
 
If we can ever determine the driver side doors electronics work I still need them.

if not determined / warranty they work I'll give you $75.00 for them.
