Picking one up tomorrow or saturday, don't know much about ABS other than it's expensive to fix when it breaks. How difficult to remove it should that need ever arise.
Other question, drivers door seems to be a tad loose on the bottom hinge, weld looks OK, got some fancy hinge setup on the body side of the door and I can lift the drivers door about 1/2", it was a getting dark by the time I got to that point after a outside lookover and test drive then noticed the door.

the only thing that really goes bad with the abs is the controler. i cant recall the price but the system is very dependable. as far as the hinge, it probably needs new rollers for the door check. they are available and the old ones need to be ground off and new ones welded in.

I'm not going to sweat that one, the hinges from the dealer are like $32 or so I have been reading on the GC forum. Just had to rebuild my body shop customers workstation so that can get done. :D

i cant post on the other page but it sounds like the rear diff needs carier bearings and pinion bearings

Yea, figured, taking it out to one of my customers/friends shop after I drop of the body shops PC and give him a heads up on the hinge thing. It's starting to get to the 'bit chilly to work outside' on it time of year for me. Now I have to figure out how to check the ABS stuff. Maybe next week when the FSM gets here.
One good thing is it has a 242J TC case and not the 249 which seems to have some issues from reading the GC forum.
