97 XJ Part Out

Got a 1997 4.0/AW4/231 Parting out.
Front clip gone, hatch gone.
Tranny may have issues, sometimes it needs to be revved high to make it go forward, other times it is fine. Good motor and 231 though.
150k miles.
cruise, p/l, p/w. Grey interior.

Sorry, cut all that to ribbons by the sound of it. The latch would not open, so I had to take a stanley knife to it all!
That is the part that goes over the rear hatch, if thats what you meant?

It is the trim in the cargo area at the roofliner and the trim around the latch at the bottom of the cargo area.

The top part is not there. The lower part is, but has a large crack in it near the latch area!

Feel free to do so then. Funny that when I looked, the cheapest USED one for a 1997 was $134 IIRC.....After that they were $160 plus shipping and up to $270.
As I said, this one looks like it was recently replaced, along with the receiver/dryer and is guaranteed working.
I found reman'd ones for $200 and up in parts stores, so I cut the cost in half. Not my fault you live on the west coast and shipping adds up.
Good luck, hope you have better luck with Ebay than I do.

Got one that works fine. It is actually the radiator from our 98 wheeling rig. The 97 one was ion better shape, along with the condenser, so I swapped them over.
It's not new, and is already removed, so how's about a $20 bill plus actual shipping?

No leaks in either the radiator part or the transmission cooler side.
Not a clue on the core, looks like the stock one though as it came out of my 98 with 88k miles on it.
