97 W/ Tow Package? What Axle?

I searched but could not find. im lookin to get a used 1997 with a tow package. what rear axle does it have? (i have not seen it in person yet and the naive owner does not know).

Could be either the D35 or 29-spline C8.25 from what I understand. Does it have ABS? Then it's a D35.

If you can get underneath (and you should to look for leaks anyway), then compare the rear axle with: http://www.yuccaman.com/jeep/gear1.html#axle

cool bro thanks. so if its ABS then for sure its a dana not the mopar 8.25?
