97+ to pre 96 front end swap

So the 97 went upside down and isnt lookin the greatest right now. I was just wondering if anyone has swaped a 96 of later doghouse onto a 97+ xj because I have an 87 just sittin here and i was thinkin about doin the swap. will everything just bolt right up? i know the quarters are different in the lower front but could i just cut them? thanks

everthing will bolt up, use the front fenders and front clip and this will keep the body lines damn near the same.
