ha!! I need the EXACT same thing - so lets make it TWO 97+ GRAY CONSOLES...plus we'll need the ebrake, ebrake bracket, and air duct

I believe (but am not 100 per cent certain) that the consoles for manual and automatic XJs are identical, and that the only difference is whether there's a shift boot or shift bezel. I don't know if a pre-97 shift boot will fit the opening in a 97+ console though.

I do have the air duct and if I look hard enough I could probably find the ebrake shifter and assembly.

AFAIK the autos are the same except for the shift boot and you can swap a 97+ boot to a 97+ auto console....but that's just from looking at both consoles, I haven't actually done it. The pre-97 boot doesn't fit the 97+ console.

I can get auto consoles locally no problem, but late model 5 speed XJ's are tough to find period, parts or whole. BRIANHO13 I pm'd you.

I can get a hold of an Auto 99 XJ Dark Grey (Charcoal) console (missing top), E-brake, Brackets, Auto Shift Bezel, E-brake cable and equalizer bar. I have done the complete swap and it requires some drilling and a little bit of work to attach the new ebrake to the old style cables ( it cost me 5 dollars to do the "custom" work though). I would have to pull this crap from the yard near me though and this place (havent seen the consoles at any of the other places) likes to go high on their prices - but if someones desperate... I'll pull and ship it for a price (a price depending on what the asshole tries to charge me at the yard of course).
