96 Cherokee Sport 4.0 Engine problems...

Bought a 96 Cherokee Sport, clean, straight, Auto, 4.0 HO with engine ticking and clicking at above idle or when lightly loading (accel slowly to 30mph for example)
Does anyone out there know someone who could come by and give it a listen? Not keen or motor replacement when all it needs is a lifter or tappet.

Car engines are not my forte', all my time is spent on Computers and Networks.

mine ticks and clicks as well...I wish it would die so I could have a stroker (dont tell the wife)
