Very clean and looks to be well built and not some hack job. I'd take it.

sweet..... i like that dash... i think thats what i am going to go for....

It says it has a Ford 9" rear,
Can the Ford 9" handle 950 Hp?

sure can.... just depends on how you build it.... dans is built with 35 spline alloys, a nodular third member, and a trussed housing and it should stand 350hp with 38's ;)

Only problem is that it is 2wd.

It's the stickers that give it the added Uuuummmphhh. :roflmao:

Not much good on the trail though...

But still, I wouldn't kick it out of the driveway for an oil leak.

I think this is the second or third time I have seen this xj on this site. The second time I have seen it on ebay. The 9" can handle just about anything you can throw at it when built right. There are full floater kits and 35 spline shafts are easy to get for it. Even a 40 spline detroit is available IIRC.

Im not 100% positive on the Detroit, but I know there are 40 spline spools availible. That's some serious beef!

Might have been a spool I saw.

wow...

...he must have some HD Engineering frame stiffeners on that thing!

not really sure why someone would do that with an xj... not banging on the xj but typical drag vehicles making that kind of power have frames and not unitbodies... but koodos

i doubt there is much left of the sheet metal on the bottom inside because of clearing the motor and rear wheel wells and im sure they incorporated a tube frame to keep it stiff plus rollcage... so im sure it works great...

old willys dragsters... now thats a drag car :D

why does the black and white pic say the engine is a 302 chevy?

305 or 350 are chevy's, and a 302 is a ford? ...or did i miss something?
