A friend of mine came across a 93 XJ a lot like mine. It has a 4.0, auto, a/c(doesn't work), power windows and locks with 133,000 miles on it. He's thinking about buying it and asked me if it's worth the $3000 asking price. I paid $5800 for mine 2 yrs ago, so I think it's worth it. Any opinions?
Thanks

2 years ago I think I paid $4200 for my 93 manual, ac actually works, substantial rust on underside, manual windows, etc...

Mine had about the same amount of miles.
IMO if there is nothing wrong with it; sure. Otherwise bargain down.

i paid $250 for mine but it was totaled, and alot of dents and alot of underside rust. AC works and is a great DD

$2500 would be reasonable, I guess. really only depends on condition.

I bought my '96 sport in January for $2200. Only problem was a cracked windshield, which my insurance fixed for free. :D

How about pricing it against other '93 XJs currently for sale in your area? Also, call your local bank or credit union and ask what the loan value is on this particular XJ. Adjust price for any items that need to be fixed. Consider how well it was/was not maintained, etc. This will give you a much better idea.

That's what I suggested to him. I just wanted to post here for my own satisfaction to see what they were going for. It's in really nice condition, no rust, nice paint and nice interior, very clean. I would almost like to have it for myself! :)

Thanks for the input!
