Well my mom got a 92 Passat GL from here parents and dumped all the work on me other then the transmission swap(broken auto to used auto). Today did the basics: air filter, fuel filter, tb and intake cleaning. Just to let you know more is going to be done just my mom doesnt have any money left in her budget so next is cap rotor and plugs.
So the starter went out bought a new one just to find out the bolt holes are stripped so the jeeper in me bought new grade 8 bolts washers and nuts since there was a observation guley in the bold holes and just used smaller bolts to keep the thing on and works greats.
Problem now after the work ive done the transmission has a kick when sliding into gears and im not sure if it has a kickdown or is a flybywire setup. since i cant tell i was hoping someone could inform me on how to adjust the kickdown points since sometimes it wont kickdown when trying to pass or it will kickdown to many gears and spin the tires.
Il be changing all the fluids next weeknd since the tranny fluid is very dirty probally from just flushing out the used tranny.
