If it's 4WD the trans will not mate to your transfer case.

I've asked about parts that interchange with the '97 model year. Transmission is '97 only, TCU is '97 only.

I just got a '97 2wd was wondering if my '90 aw4 and '90 231 would work. I have a line on a '98 trans and 231 your saying my '97 tcm won't work with this trans?
