Not to rain on your parade, but I bought this 2 weeks ago for $900. 89 limited. The 33" km2's were 90%. Ran great, broken windshield and needed a rear driveshaft. Had h&t sye on the 242. Sorry, but old xj's are dirt cheap.

I believe you can have picknpull come pick up the shell. sometimes they might even still pay you for it i think.
