Looks almost like it was meant for a 97-up dome light, though it's still too big for that I think... I would also go to a you-pull-it and get a new headliner. Probably won't cost over 30 bucks and you can get one from any year up to 96 and it'll fit easy, or 97-up if you want the built in speaker bar at the back. That old one looks kinda worn/dirty anyways.
