I have one of those that I bought for the 1996 Ford Taurus 8 weeks ago, but it was the wrong size . Found it finally after hours of Google searches and O'Reilys had the part under a Motorcraft oem part number search, but had previously said the data base did not show one under a fuel part search. Having the part number made the difference.
lawagoneer, I have two used spare fuel rails already, thanks, but I want a new core.
Shorty just posted on an old thread on this issue that he has been using an old style R-12 AC core for 7 years with no problems on his fuel rail. I have a box of those for my hose-gauge set, new ones, so I will try one of them first. The diesel-o'rings site part might work too.
I do know the tire ones are no good for AC for gasoline....
