8.25 locker

I am going to be putting in a lock right locker this weekend in a freinds 8.25 27 spline rearend. I have put in two of these lockers in dana 35 rears with c clips but that is the extent of my knowledge. Is there any thing odd, or tips that anyone could give me to make this easier. Thanx Digger

On the 8.25 a bolt holds in the cross shaft,not a roll pin.That is about the only thing I remember being different.

Cool, if i remember correctly both the 35s i did had screws in the crosshaft. Does the 8.25 have c clips?

Yes, C-clips.
