I hope this is an appropriate place to list this. Mods feel free to move delete if needed.
Sadly, it's time for me to sell my RV. I just don't use it enough to justify owning it. In the past 5 years it has only went to KOH every year.
It was a top of the line coach when it came out. Very well made. has a cool retro feel to it.
Here's the story on it. 35' 78 Vogue RV. Previous owner transplanted a diesel engine with allison transmission into it. I have not had a single mechanical issue with it in the 10 years I have owned it. Runs great and is It is smog exempt.
Just put a new front AC on it ($1100)... doesn't have an hour running time on it. Other AC works great. tires pretty new. Big Onan Gen just tuned up and runs great. New front springs. New captains chair and front couch/bed. All new blinds, new wood floor in kitchen. New vent/lights. New toilet. Has back up camera. Has 4 beds. Suspension air bags just redone.
I tow my Jeep with this rig. It is not a rocket ship, but gets better MPG's than my truck when towing. I can get around 11mpg. It has 38000 on the OD, but that hasn't worked since the diesel transplant. I would guess it has around 20-30k on the new motor.
The bad: It's missing one leveling jack.
Also, due to the trans switch the odometer/speedometer doesn't work. I think there is a way to hook it up, but it never really mattered to me so I didn't. just used my phone as a speedometer and called it good.
RV has 2 heaters and one needs it blower to be replaced.
Selling it locally for $8500. If your a
member I would be willing to knock $1000 off of that. I'm NOT highly motivated to sell it. Let me know if you have any questions. I will be taking it out to KOH this year.
