this company makes a kit that is 99% bolt on all you have to do is weld on the pitches seems pretty bad ass and it would probable ride super smooth.

Yes, they ride and flex fine, but they are also rock magnets since they are so long and relatively flat. There are much better options.

this is a popular swap to get long travel cheap on a ranger. should work similarly well on an XJ for going fast. Nice find.

I wish there were better pics of it installed, it looks from the pics there that the front spring hanger is welded to the floor pan

Install looks questionable. Bolt on except new perches, so they have to be Inboarded to beneath the frame, without a frame, they bolt into the unirails? Probably wouldn't work with a rear hitch either. Without better installed pics, or directions I definately wouldn't order them and hope they have a secure mounting system.

actually though, this kit might take more work to retain the stock spring perches and not have to inboard the springs.
