anybody heard of this place to wheel? I need to know what town it is buy so i can get directions. is a good place to wheel?

it's fun for about a day....if that......I was there in Feb.

but it is now closed to trucks and only open to ATVs as of April 24th

well there goes that idea, know any spots 100 mi or closer to Burlington, Ia

2 closest places I know of are:

Rockport: 130 miles
The Cliffs: 170 miles

I don't know of anything closer.

There is a place just south of Knoxville, Ia. It is called Make it or Break it. I was there all Memorial Day weekend. There are few other places sattered all through Iowa. Check out Iowa4wd.com that is place for all of us Iowa guys to get together. HTH.

Not many places really in Iowa. We have Castiana(I think thats how it's spelled) in the north west I beleave. About the best would be MIOBIs(Make It Or Break It) It's land that you have to be a member of the club or are going to join to wheel(Not counting big events like last weekends.) Check out MIOBI.Org for more info. But I hear rockport is better. I hear that an old coal mine is opening near Winterset(southwest of Des Moines) but know very little about it or when it will open...andy
