6.5 LIFT XJ

Rustys over rough country, but neither in my opinion... and no you probably can't drive it without an SYE at 6.5 inches

yep get a porc sye around 200 or less shipped to your door best deal great product been running it with 8 inches lift for over 2 years now...6.5 is enough lift to have some high driveline angles so its needed...avoid if you have the cash a tc drop...get it done and get it done right with a sye

I have the 6.5" Rusty coil springs and used the rear leaf pack off a GMC Jimmy and 1.5" boomarang schackles and an AA SYE. Set up works really good and costs allot less.
Coils - $150 + shipping
GMC rear leaf pack (junk yard) - $30
Boomarang Schackels - $90
Total - $270

I have been wheeling my Jeep for about 3 years with the same lift. Its a 4.5 Rough country with spacers and TNT shackles. People bash Rough Country left and right. Then there are the guys that bash Rustys left and right. I think they are all about the same for a short arm Kit. Think about it they consist of Coils and leafs, and they all wear out. I mean I have full leafs and after 3 years my Jeep sits level. I dont bash one item and like another. I bought my lift because it was cheap at the time. I have since upgrade to good components(soon LA) but I still run the same leafs anf coils.

i just ordered the 6.5 lift from rough country and eagerly still waiting, but anyhow i went with the rc lift because of the adjustable contral arms.i was going to order a sye but was told a longer driveline and a yoke off a yj is just as good and cheaper
