5.0

It should fit but I wouldn't know where you would start for mounts or drivetrain.

if it was a built motor would it twist the crap out of the unibody. because i think mustangs are unibodys also

Mustang are unibody just like cherokees. You could buy frame stiffners if that problem. The 318 I got not built just stock with high flow exhaust, cone filter, and trottle body spacer.

It can be done I am putting one in my cherokee now I pulled it out of my 89 5.0. I also know that summit offers a wire harness that all you need is a key power and the 5.0 computer. If you want to do the swap call Novak Adapters thats who I had make my motor mounts call them they can hook you up.

Thats gonna be a monster, did you build it up at all? Any problems with exhaust routing?

351s from what i was told is only like 3 inches taller and two inches wider. or something like that. but basically there not much bigger

Technically anything will fit, if you have a big enough hammer and strong enough suspension.:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

I have not finished it yet I ran out of funds when I decited to go with bigger axles out of a ford powerstroke, and coilovers. I want to be able to rod the hell out of it with 37's and not break. But a couple of things that I have seen so far are you will have to make your own headers and you are going to have to get a oil filter out of a mustang. A standered Napa filter will hit the frame. I know that an AMSOIL filter EaO 15 will fit no stress. I have that gt 40 and a 1 inch spacer between my upper and lower intake, it sits higher then stock but still fits under the hood with about an 1.5'' clearance. I am going to use the AOD that came out of the mustang. And either an atlas or a 231hd and a lowering kit.

F150 shorty headers should fit. They turn down real quick at the back of the motor. 87-96 year trucks.

as for the oil filter i saw an oil filter relocation adapter some were cause i was gonna put a 5.0 in a prerunner ranger and you had to use one because it woudnt fit at all. i think advace adapters made the kit
