A long while ago, I had a dream to own a 4wd truck and go on epic offroad adventures on roads that mere stock vehicles could hardly fathom. Pockets of the state and country that hadn't been discovered by hoards of tourists, and roads so remote that the dust kicked up and you couldnt tell where the trail ended and the sky began.
This dream was realized early Feb 2017 with the purchase of a '98 xj from @@ron off this forum. Ive gotten a ton of info on building xjs from this site and wanted to give back as best I could to offer any insights Ive picked up along the way. I fall somewhere in the middle of sketchyfab and perfectionfab and I hope most people can relate to the stuggle and joys.
Sorry for the lame intro, I know the only interesting thing is the pics:
The glorious "before" stance.
HPD30 front, XJ44 rear, 3.55 gears, IRO long arm kit, SYE, 33 KM2s, and a front bumper with a winch! Might look familiar to some folks around here.
