4.88`s and 35s ?

I think my favorite diff based on that kind of thing is the True High 9 (well, aside from the fact that it costs a million bucks...) - it has a third pinion bearing and also a thrust block behind the ring gear. Try stripping teeth off of THAT.

If Im remembering correctly, there are a couple guys back east who have.

Big woody, or something like that on Pirate has gone through three or so. He now runs 14 bolts.

But us mortals will never have issues with them. If I were made of money, I would run a Hi9 in a heartbeat.

He's from New Jersey...what can you expect?:roflmao:

hahahah That's what I was thinking lol

However on subject that's similar to the gear setup I'm gonna run on my wheeler. I have a 8.8 in the back yard that I plan on gearing with 4.88's and just running a spool. Also going to try and run the turdy, however a little different. Gonna run the 4.88's that I already have, a full case locker (thinking detroit), a truss, and heavy diff guard. I'm running 35 boggers :flame: away.... however I'm pretty easy on the skinny pedal and only run through mud and water. My wheeling rig only stays local, n the only thing local is Wharton state forest and countless mud holes and water crossings. No hill climbs and/or rocks for that rig....
