Should - that's a new enough 258 block to be the "Wide Deck" that used the same pattern as the 242. Why? I ask because you'll have to switch intake and exhausts (as mentioned) and you'll have to do some fabrication to retain the MPFI setup - most F/I 258's were aftermarket TBI systems. Also, you can expect lower compression, and an attendant decrease in power (I don't have numbers - never bothered to run them.)
If you have the entire engine, you'd be better off using the crankshaft and rods to build yourself a stroker, and start the head on a convoy to me so I can section it with the bandsaw for research purposes...
