4.0 swap into 2.5L 97 TJ

My brother blew up his 2.5 and found a great deal on a low mile 4.0L. My only real concern is how the 4.0 will bolt up to the AX5 tranny. I don't know if the 2.5 has a CPS, or how to adapt one to work with the different tranny. Anyone ever done this?

My YJ has a 2.5L banger in it and I looked at the swap. I decided against it for a couple reasons.

1. AX-5 won't hold up too well with the 4.0L. Might last for a while but AX-5 just wasn't designed for that power.
2. AX-5 doesn't bolt up to the 4.0L (pretty sure)
3. Computer issues. New ECU and wiring required.
4. Cost is too high to get the job done right.
