Ok 84 engine bay and 99 engine bay!
Ok, the 84 radiator suport actually bends towards the front. It is right before this bend that the 99 is whacked and the new suport is bolted in.
Ok the 99 you can see where the "new black" radiator suport starts. I took some measurement and with that bend the 84 bay is actually 1.5" longer. Howerver, there would be damn little room for a radiator!
I can see in the 99 where it looked like the firewall bends adn a greater angle where the engine and tranny meet! Not a project for the meek. I can see where a total donner would be required.
