Headed into the Rubicon last Thursday for a few days of camping/wheeling.

Friday was spent swimming, drinking beer, eating food, and watching the Jeep Jamboree go through.
On Saturday we went to observation point for a quick lunch.

On Sunday we all headed back out. Some went home but some of us headed over to Barrett. We didn't get to the trailhead till 5:30 but had the whole trail and lake to ourselves.

About half way through Jim's pitman arm broke...

...fortunately I had a spare that sort of worked and got him the rest of the way in and out.
It was getting late and eventually turned into a night run.
