I used 16ga when I replaced the floor in the back of my XJ.
Picked it up at a local steel supply company. (Indy)
Probably some place in your area will have material.

I see were your front bumper mounting holes are bent. This is what I did with mine. I cut them off flush in the front then welded up the corner. Then I took a piece of 3/16" steel that I bolted to the front crossmember with a 90* bend at each end with new front bumper mounting holes.
