Will 30 inch tires fit on a stock XJ? My 95 has 30's on it. I'm getting ready to lift it and I'm not sure if it is already lifted a little. Here is a picture;

you will be able to fit them but you might get a little rubbing on your suspension in a tight turn, I had 30x9.50 on my 89 they ran good but did rub a little

no need to check 30s will fit stock. like said before they just rub a little on turns.

Yes, they fit. I ran 31's at stock height for a few months.

I'm shopping for tires soon, and thinking about moving up to some 30's.

Where do they rub? Could I damage my fenders or anything else if I let them rub?
Is there a loss of power with the bigger tires, or anything else to be concerned with?

i run 30s on my stock DD. its a 5spd so i couldn't really tell ya if i noticed a loss of power on the swap. mine rub on the front-inner of the front flares at full lock going slow.
i needed new rear bumpstops anyway, so i put in the extended length ones. otherwise the 30s would most likely contact my rear flares when hittings bumps at higher speeds

30s shouldnt do much damage since theyre fairly small (apart from some wear on the contact point and at the tire). but the main thing of concern would be that the flares could get torn off at the mounts (but not necessarily broken). you may notice that the speedometer is off slightly, but most likely not as it would only affect it by one mph or so
