I have 4 rims that are 3.75" backspaced, will there be any problems mixing them with rims that are backspaced 4.00"?

What is the question?

1 4.0BS rim where on the truck?
2 4.0BS rim's where on the truck?
you have 4 3.75BS rims. Do you have more than 4 wheels on your jeep?

dude... it's a quarter-inch. it's not a big worry at all.

i think what he is saying is that he wants to put the 3.75 ones on the 8.8 to make up the diff, as it is a bit more narrow then the d30, if thats what your saying, you'll be fine with that setup.

regardless of axle, 1/4" of width isn't going to make any difference of any kind.

besides, the 8.8 is more than 1/2" narrower. to actually make up the difference, you'd have to have 4.5" BS up front and 3.75" BS in back (or, whatever combo that adds up to 1.5" wider).

thats what i was figuring but figured I would get some opinions on it. Actually the situation is: I only bought 4 tires and rims originally and didn't have a spare. Now I have a buddy with a 4.00bs rim for cheap as a spare. Although I do think it would be funny if I did have five tires. Also I was looking at the fact that the 8.8 is a 1/2" narrower. Thanks guys.

it's 1.5" narrower. just FYI...

you'll be plenty fine with a 4" for a spare. again, it's only a quarter-inch.

you are right on the 1.5", i was thinking on two different things and typing at the same time. i meant i was looking to possibly use them to widen the rear by a 1/2".
