Hey guys,
I can do some advice and maybe some pictures if you have any

I have some new 285/75/16 tires ( essentially 33/11.50 but a little taller)

Just lifted my xj 4.5 inches and plan to put on Bushwacker Flares (bc the look cool lol)

I’ve read several treads that of people running the same set up with BW flares and with 33x12.50 tires and they were not satisfied with the look bc the flares were much wider than the tires making them look small.

What size spacers would you suggest to have the wheels protrude past the flares with my 11.50 inch tires? I’m was thinking since guys are saying the 12.50 tires looked small maybe get 2 in spacers?

Btw, it has 4 inch backspacing with -11 offset.

Pics would help a lot! Thanks guys!

Asking the same questions on a new thread? My setup is very near to yours and I've shared pics and my specs, not that you need to copy me, but if you want your tires to stick out past the BW flares, run a 2" spacer.
I don't understand the logic of installing a wider flare, then spacing the tire out beyond the flare, negating the tire coverage benefits of the wider flare, but do whatever keeps your dingy buoyant......

I think it’s just that I’m having a hard time envisioning it and didn’t fis the answer. Bud if I can push it to 2” without no issues with some good spacers why not? I should have gotten 12.50 but oh well. I may just skip the Bw flares and spacer all by itself at this point. Maybe next time when I upgrade my gears and go 34’s
