255 (10" wide) tires. Will they fit stock?

I got me some Gambler rims that are 15x8. I know the rims will handle the wider tire, but will I get rubbing? The overall tire diameter will be 29" so I don't think that will be a problem.

Did a search for 255 and came up empty

I have not done it myself but there is a guy at work who runs 30's on a stock rig with no rubbing. I think they're 10.5, though I could be wrong.

i have 30's on a 1997, and without lift they rubbed the front around corners, and the rear with weight in the back over bumps. They are actaully 245/75R16's.

When I bought the 92 it had 255/60R15's on it. 15x7 rims with 3.75" of bs. Did not rub anywhere on the road. Never took it off road with those tires & rims. JIM.

Your fine it would be bad at all maybe alittle offroad while your flexing or something but other than that your good

Nice rig.

I've opted to go the 30x9.5 route and stick an AAL in the rear and a spacer in the front. Tires should be here tomorrow and the leaf on Monday!
