242 to 242 Swap now an Indicator Problem

I have 2 242s, I put the SYE in the new one and swapped out my original. Old is a 98, new is a 99. After the swap my panel shows that I'm in FULLTIME no matter what selection I'm in. Any ideas?

Also, did the d35 to 8.8 swap today.

Try swapping the sender from the original tcase into the new one.

The thing that the wires connect to, that just screws right out

Have to agree with EHall....; swap out the transfer case position switch.
There were several sensors and wiring connector types that changed on the XJs between 98 and 99.
