2009 MWC Pig Gig; Mark your calender!

I very well could. But, I would most likely be meeting up with Brad first. So, IDK. We could roll in either or our respective whips. :D But, I can't wait to get a new gun. Looking for a .22 rifle to take. Cheap to buy, cheap to shoot all day. My .40 costs about $16 for a box of cheap range ammo of 50 rds. That would be an expensive weekend.

Can't go wrong with the ole.22! I have a Marlin that I am bringing.

Word. I have a stash of .40 saved up, but I will probably only bring 50-100 rounds. I have about 30 rounds of .30 carbine I'm going to bring, and a bunch of .22.

Edit: Mike - does Dave still have a supply line on .30 carbine?

You guys better stock up....I plan to have at least 50 rounds for every weapon I bring...probably closer to 100 rds. I will drop about $300 on ammo....so you fawkers better shoot.

50-100 rounds... I would use that up in one, maybe two minutes at most.

Agreed, but until I can find a .40 reloading die set, I'm stuck with what I have and what I can scrape up around here. I have probably 1000 .40 casings, primers, etc, but no die set.

I picked up an xd45 today.......

You will not be dissapointed. 600 rds through mine (bought new in April) and it probably shoots better now.

Is there going to be a skeet thrower there or at least a hand thrower? I need to practice up for my Texas dove hunting trip that is following this event by 2 weeks....

I've got a thrower Tyler.

Wow, so I guess I'll have to get shells and throw the shotty in the car too!

We've shot clays at every MWC Pig Gig to date.
