2000 XJ Starts and Shuts Down. Please Help!

No, the engine will crank, run for a second or two then cut off. The system is not recognizing the key as indicated by the flashing no key light.

Yes the jeep will start and run with a bad key for about 2 second or if I hit the gas about 20 feet.

There is a fuse for the sercurity key. --> Replace It <--

If the No key light is blinking in the dash. Than you got a security key problem.

He will make an attempt to find the fuse. First he will pull the fuse panel cover and it will say check the manual for the fuse diagram.. the manual will say check the fuse door.. lol
