aftermarket sensors for renix BWD from Advance Auto have small holes that when they are molded to the bracket-melt-into them...I took a New Bwd sensor and tapped it with a hammer and vise method.It cracked the plastic and can slide on the mounting braket.I will take a new sensor and using the old one see where them small holes are located and using a small drill bit with my hand remove the plastic melt threw section so it can completely slide with no cracks..

that's what I was going to suggest ... drill out the dimple ... the re-epoxy inplace when you have the result you wnat.

You can use the same method on your HO CPS as I describe for the Renix one.
