1st run for my "new" jeep

Finally got a chance to test out the new lift and other mods I’ve done to my jeep lately. My dad, friend Dave and I ran up to Boards crossing for a shakedown run and do a little fishing. Really, really happy with how my jeep is turning out. Performs well both on and offroad, its simply a pleasure to drive.
We ran the trail to the end, fished for a little bit and then headed out to do some exploring. Weather was a bit cool, but nice with no dust.








I managed to catch a few fish, nothing big, but pretty little guys. The first one needs a few more meals

Looks like a nice trail to wheel. Speaking of Slickrock, I'll be up there the weekend after the 4th of July staying in one of the cabins at Lake Alpine with daughters, and nieces and maybe more. I'll have my heep to play on Slickrock too though.

I'll be heading up there on the 9th and coming back home on the 12th. I'll probably run it both Friday and Saturday. Though it'd be great if DV was going to be open. Then maybe I could run DV up to the lookout area and then run SR. Either way, I'll be up there playin around on the lake or on a trail for the weekend.

Jeep is looking great! I love that boards crossing area. I need to get down there and try to catch some fish!
