1st Annual Offroad Addicts Poker Run

not sure yet, just somewhere in St. Joe. Where would be a good safe hotel to stay that I dont have to worry about my tow rig and trailer/Jeep getting broke into? I am not overly familiar w/ St. Joe, but I know where the Harley shop is :D I'll PM ya my phone number.

Okay, so is this place easy to find? Coming from Wichita and a web search didn't come up with an address. Looks like the main park is off 77...How about the park?

I'll be solo so if in anyone wants to ride let me know.

-John

hey you wichita guys, usuns from salina are leaving town about 7, and you are more than welcome to join up with our xj convoy for the journey north.

we will be leaving the southerlands parking lot right there at i-135 and Magnolia exit here in salina, so if you are up this way just pull off the interstate, and we can hit the road in a big group.

There will also be several empty seats in our group, so if your junk is not ready, get ahold of me and i will try to get you a ride!!

taking off work now and heading to the house. Will see ya all in the morning.

sweet KSXJ, lookin forward to meetin ya. This'll be my first midwest event. The chapter's so big, I can't go to much anymore. I started in SoCal, then migrated to the Northwest. No here. Only a couple chapters left! :) J/k, i'm stayin here in KS.

Sorry, fixed it.

well, we had a blast today, got burned to a crisp by the sun, watched josh and blake try out their new setups on their jeeps. (first time for either of them since around the first of the year) and had some nifty damage by some of our guys.

Josh destroyed his front bumper against a tree that just jumped out in front of him.

Blake knocked the valve stem clear off a tire in the garden, broke a window, smashed a fender, all in about 15 min. But good fun to watch.

And me, i thought i broke a no-slip locker like mike did, nope, bad news for me all the way around

But for most of the day, it was great. Big thanks for seth for pulling me out of the park, and a big thanks to josh for hauling my junk home ane letting me and the mrs take his jeep down the highway.

Now for the rest of the pics i have edited. If you are looking for one that you dont see and you where in my group, let me know, i might have it, we took around 100 pics.

Take a good look here, only 2 jeeps in this line up are not xjs, i wish we could have gotten all the xjs in the park there for this one, but this was just the guys we where wheeling with. I know there was atleast 2 or 3 more here this weekend.

Big thanks to the OA Crew for a great run!

I had a blast. First time since the chop and axles where installed. OA did a great job with the event very well planned I thought. Also big thinks to Lee for letting us borrow his trailer. Saved me the drive up there in the heep, and saved Dalen at the end of the day.

Thanks again for making the trek guys!

Good to finally meet you Tyler, hope you and your buddy had a safe trip home!

-Andrew

It was good to put some names and faces together and we had a great time. OA did a great job of putting together a fun time and it was at our own pace, not some pushy overly organized run with a tight schedule. We will def make it out for the 2nd annual poker run.

The drive home sucked due to the fact that we stopped at the Steak Guzzler buffet in Topeka and ate until we were in food comas and then proceeded to drive another 4 hours to get home :D BUT...still worth the drive. Andrew, please send my thanks on the OA, it was a well put on and organized run. Now if I was not at work I would be able to see the posted up pics...damn filters!!

Glad you made it home safe Tyler. We really appreciate you making the haul down here!!
