1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport

This is a thread that will only last a couple of days, if I don't have interest fast, a part out will ensue. I bought a 1998 XJ with a bad motor and was planning on parting it out, but I'm having second thoughts because I think it is too nice. The exterior is black and in really nice shape. The only dent is in the front bumper, the only real rust is in the 4 corners of the roof and a small spot above one flare. The carpet and headliner will need to be replaced (I have an Agate carpet and grey headliner for extra $$$) but the seats are nice, and the driver's seat is power. The rest of the interior plastic is nice. Has an almost new set of 235 75 15 Goodyear Wranglers on the stock steelies. I will sell it for $800 obo, 208,000 miles, prior salvage title. Located in Des Moines, Iowa.

Haha, this seems to happen often Byron . I only have one at the moment, but I will get more tomorrow for you.


Since the picture, I have removed all of the side moulding and replaced the parking light that was broken. It is black and beautiful!

There are four spots of rust about like this on each corner of the roof.

$700, need it gone soon, would really like to see this back on the road rather than headed to the scrapheap. Part out will commence Wednesday.

The motor is completely shot Tyler, 30psi of compression in some cylinders. It will need a head at the least but probably a new engine. If you're interested, get at me
