Year: 1996
Make: Jeep
Model: Cherokee 4x4, 4-door
Engine: 4.0L
Transmission: Auto
Transfer Case: 4wd FULL TIME, PART TIME, NEUTRAL, 4LO
Asking price: $2500 OBO

Where?: Santa Monica, CA

History: I got the car at 102,000 miles. It now has about 175,000 miles and has been regularly maintained. Was my daily driver. Used a lot of highway miles coming home on weekends from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles during college. I've had it since 2001.

Maintenance history: ALL fluids have been changed recently.
Engine flushed.
Radiator system flushed.
Differentials, Auto tranny fluid changed, T-case fluid changed.
Power steering fluid recent, Brake fluid changed. (I think that's all of them...).
New tires (Pirelli Scorpions - STOCK size)
Have full service history since ownership.
Just smogged in December - registration paid until 2011 December.

Too good to be true, you say?

I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car to Florida from it's CA home which means ZERO rust issues! Condition is great for being from 1996.

Highlights:

Sony Xplod CD head unit, 8'' subwoofer w/ amp professionally installed. Pioneer front speakers, stock rear.

K&N air filter - will give you the recharge kit.

Plastic flooring - apparently it was an option but it's great for being able to wipe out mud and spills...no carpet needed!

Plastic/pleather seats - don't worry about sitting on them if you're wet! They wipe right off!

Only two issues:
1. Window tint (1 small rear window has no tint due replacing the glass)
2. Climate control VENTS only blow through the defrost.

dammit! i wish i had my tax money on me already.

Stupid question but how is it on GAs? How many miles does it get to a full tank?

Unfortunately the vehicle is no longer for sale. My brother wants to keep it, register it non-op, cancel the insurance, and keep it for emergencies in the driveway in case of a car accident or something.
I'm glad it's staying in the family...and I guess I benefit too in case I roll my Jeep ;)
