1991 Ax-15 in my 1989 aw4 Mj

Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing well.
I recently finished putting floors into my Comanche and I've been enjoying it. I saw a killer deal for an Ax15 on marketplace and couldn't stop myself from getting it. It's a from 91 Xj. I have the pedals, clutch reservoir, and transfer case still mated to the transmission with its bell housing. I'm fairly new to manuals so I'm not sure what else I need other than the clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, internal slave cylinder, and throw out bearing. I also can go back and get more parts off this Xj at any time.

Thanks taking your time to read!

Did you also get the aluminum sheet metal cover for the bell housing? Having removed the flywheel I would expect you got that part, but that is one part that tends to get left behind.

I don't see the crossmember in your list. You probably want that. The manual crossmember has a bit of drop (maybe 1") in it.

Driveshaft lengths are different between the AX15 and an AW4. If axles and lifts are the same between both vehicles you may want the driveshafts.

There are probably some things you will want on the electronics/wiring side, but not having played with such a conversion I am not sure what those are going to be.

Thanks for the response! I actually don't have that aluminum sheet. I'll be sure to grab it. I'll also grab the crossmember.
The driveshaft is kinda stumping me. Since it's a long bed, i'd think the driveshaft from the xj would be too short? And I read somewhere else that the auto to manual swap would end up needing an inch more for the driveshaft?

Anyways thank you again!

It is not just the rear driveshaft which will be different. The front is also affected by the length of the transmission.
