1988 MJ, 800 bucks???

Saw an 88 2wd on the side of the road today. Tagged, inspected, body is pretty much rust free, but a little beat up.needs new windshield, headlamp switch, its an auto.(AW4?)Decent tires, spare bumper for front end.worth 800 bones?? I've had 2 XJs, never a comanche and it would be nice to have one. Oh yea, 236,000 on the clock.

Sounds like a decent price. What drivetrain does it have? How many miles? I just picked up a mint 88 MJ that needed a trans. (which I had a spare) for $150. 4.0, 5 speed, 4x4, a/c and only 115k on the clock. Came with a very nice fiberglas shell too.

yes $800 is a good price in a comanche as you described, especially if it's the 4.0L engine. still, i'd see about negotiating that price
