If it is indeed that one it ran fine before it was pulled. If you poured on the fuel it would get up and go pretty well, but the EGTs would go through the roof if you left your foot in it. It was fine if you needed a quick burst of oomph to get going or perhaps pass something, but going up a long grade you couldn't leave your foot in it.
