LOL - is that a 460? The Stomper's motor is out of its sister, a 77 T-bird! That is a remarkably clean 35 year old land-yacht, man!

It's a 460, can't believe I forgot that in the ad! It was the last car my Grandpa purchased and my Grandma didn't drive it much. I have fond memories of traveling as a kid in cars like this. The back seat is huge and the cars feel like they float above the road. Kids don't know what they missed by not traveling cross country in a huge American mobile!

Soooooo want this!!! I'd sawzall the top off and then load it with fly rods and waders.

Pretty cool Kev. I'd wanna limo tint the windows, de-chrome it, paint it flat black, make it an urban assault vehicle out of it...... It needs a gun turret and 7.62 mini guns on the hood......:D

No one should ever admit to knowing Fords...... especially that in-depth.

Just sayin'. :D

come to the blue oval darkside, yella.... it is your destiny.

Well, those of us that know Fords knew it was a big block by the C6 trans...

Just sayin.

HEY!!!! WATCH IT THERE!!

If I could talk the CFO (aka The Old Lady) into it, I'd snag this in a heart beat. Those big Mercury's were as dependable as the day is long.

The problem is, it would bring the 98 Heep project to a standstill and add yet another project to the list that already has the 1948 Heep on it.

I'll have to disagree with that. It could be a 400/351M, which is not a big block. C6 was the only auto behind those. I have never seen a C4 with that bellhousing pattern.
And I'll admit I know Ford's in that depth.:patriot:
