I'm in the market for a new pellet gun and am selling my old one. It is an AccuAir Force 1100. Rated at 1100 fps, but after firing it I was getting in the high 900's, so 1000 is more accurate. I bought it last year and only fired it a few times. It was louder then I was expecting and freaked out my neighbors. After having the police show up at my house looking for a hunting rifle I was shooting on my property I decided I needed something that was quieter and clearly looked like a pellet gun. I purchased it at Sierra Trading post for $139. I just found it even lower. Here's the current price:

I wasn't a huge fan of the scope that came with it so I headed to Bass Pro and upgraded that. I paid $50 at basspro for the scope. Here's the cheapest I found the scope online:

I also picked up a soft case for it at basspro for about $20.

At this point with tax and shipping I have about $230 into it. I would like to get $120. I will do $90 but I will keep the Basspro Winchester scope and will reinstall the original. I will also do $80 with the original scope but will then keep the case as well.

Here's some pics:

Just posted it up on Craiglsist and realized I put the same prices. Figured I should cut NAXJA folks a better deal. Lets go $100 for the gun, better scope, and case. If you want just the gun and original scope and no case then lets say $75.

They are great to have if you are dealing with a mole or ground squirrel problem. I have a really crapy pellet gun that I used for a while but I wanted to upgrade to something with more killing power. This gun definately has the killing power but it also comes with a loud bang that resembles a muffled hunting rifle. Now I'm stuck using my old crapy quiet one just to keep the neighbors from calling the cops on me. My goal is to sale this one and find one as nice but with the added "quiet fire" feature.

That thing's purty - too bad I don's have the dosh at the moment!

The best thing about break-barrel action is that it's ambidextrous (I get as much gear to be ambi as possible, or convert it if I'm able. I'm left-handed, she's right-handed.)

I'm probably going to be in the market for a good air rifle or two soon - just not right at this moment (damn...)

Gimme access to a machine shop and I could quiet that thing down for you...

That might be my next option if I can't sale it. There are a few companies that make some type of silencer kit for them, but I really don't know what they are made of. The cost kinda scared me off.

Sold. I picked up my Walter's 1200 Quiet fire today and it is WAY quieter. Hopefully the neighbors want call the cops anymore.

i would love to hear the quiet fire, and see its power. i havnt looked at pellet guns in many years so i have no idea what the technology has changed. but i know my antique sheridon has the power of a 22cal. though because it has the all brass barrel, i havnt shot it much, trying to keep it for a long time as an antique.

There are a couple high end models that sale for $300+ that shoot over 1400 fps with a .22 pellet. Those have some serious power but are CRAZY loud. I fired the Ruger .22 1400 fps inside Big 5. Not only did I scare the crap out of the guy behind the counter and everyone in the store, I almost crapped my pants. The manage wasn't too happy. It was WAY louder then my .22 rifle. Bass Pro has 3 .177 quiet fire models and Big 5 has two. The difference is that Big 5 has all their for sale items an additional 25% off the sale price. The Walter's gun I picked up was regularly $240 and was marked down 1/2 to $120. I then added the 25% promo which brough it to $90. I was shocked at the deal I got. After the ammo, case, and tax I was right at $125. Very happy about that deal and the gun. I'm getting ready to head out into the back yard and dial in the scope.

Is this deal still available? If so I am SO gonna get one!

Deal is still available through tomorrow. The best deal they had was a Daisy .177 break barrel marked down from $149 to $99 then deduct 25% which puts you at $75 and it comes with a decent scope. I was gonna get that one but it was too loud for my needs but a great deal. They also had a Crossman Quest 1000 for $82 after all the discounts with scope. Also too loud for me but an awesome deal. I think in total they have 6 break barrel guns on sale and all come with the additional 25% off. The even had a beeman duel barrel (comes with a .22 and .177 barrel) for $139. That one was awesome but they only had the floor model at my local store and they couldn't find the scope that went with it.
