15x8 with 2.75 inch backspacing too wide?????

i ran 2" bs on 15x10's with 33" boggers and everything was fine. never had any problems with the d30

so if you have an 8" wheel 5" backspacing is better in terms of putting less stress on the hub compared to 4" backspacing even though with 4" backspacing the hub would be in the center of the wheel and tire?

yeah, thats pretty much what got me going i guess. not a big deal overall, and i do understand the reasoning behind it now, just that i thought i had previously read otherwise. I'm sure it was a mixup on my part, though...no biggie :sunshine:
