I got this at the jy out of a mid 90's Dakota with a V8. It is a rebuilt alt PN 15689. It looks like it was just installed, still has the stickers on it & in fact it's cleaner than mine. It is a direct swap into a 97-98, to fit it into 99-00 u have to splice into the two field wires, seriously ez. Had it tested and it charges at 14.6. The Dakota had a big stereo so I think but am not sure that the cables are larger.
