Why stick with 8-12 PSI of boost when you can have 49 PSI? Nothing like breaking the wheels loose at 200 kph.

But he had way less power then; size matters was pre Banks Super-Turbo.

IIRC, they are at 60 psi boost *before* the turbo now..

Let's see now, the VeeDub's speedo tops out at 240Kph/ That is near enough to call it 150Mph.

Gets there in pretty short order.

And I agree, why settle for low boost...
