I used some StinkyFab parts on my WJ knuckle conversion and I could not be happier with them.
In the end, I actually could have saved quite a bit of time, money and frustration by just buying the whole StinkyFab high-steer/WJ knuckle kit instead of piecemealing everything together myself.
You should be able to borrow a code reader at any AutoZone and test your port. I wouldn't be surprised if your ELM is DOA.

The wifi network created by the ELM device should be named in the manual that came with the device. It will not indicate Dash Command.
Once your phone is on the ELM's wifi network, the DashCommand software will try to find the ELM device by IP address.

Yes! I finished last night. It feels really good on the road. The brakes feel much stronger. I can't wait to wheel it. Just need to add limit straps to prevent drag link abuse and I'll be ready to hit the mall.
I'll post a final "what can go wrong" list this week.
The shiny new aluminum tie rod came in from Stinky Fab so I got to put everything together.
I'm really happy with the tie rod. It bends around the RuffStuff diff cover at full lock just like it's supposed to. I will probably take a little metal off the cover just to minimize the bending.

I had the linkage cut and set just right. Then I realized the axle was not centered all. Try again.
I think it's OK now.
I ordered a solid 7075 aluminum tie rod and pre-drilled brake discs from Stinky Fab. That should get this over the finish line.
