they are making a new 33x10.50 grabber not the one you ran. the new one will be just like the 285
the 3701 broke the shocks. 1712 broke the drivers side knuckle. by the time we could have fixed it we would have timed out
the generals are mandated tires for jeepspeed now. the grabber 33x10.50 r15 will be coming out in i think october. it will be a dot tire per our jeepspeed rules. jeepspeed is the only reason they are making it dot. right now you can get a 285/16, 33x12.50 r15 and on up in the red letter.
we do have the from the late model xj. a friend of mine installed them and said they were easy to install. the manufacture molded them on his xj then he got the first set. the difference between fiberwerx and ours is that our are not copy molds. we all know that a copy of a copy of a copy ends...
the can length depends on how your mounting them. are you going through the wheel well or are you cutting off your stockers and just welding the can there?
just to let you guys know we can/have made a tail shaft kit for both the AX15 and AW4 2WD. (one that we did is on the NRT 1719 Jeepspeed) the downside we need to have the trans here to do it.
we didnt make them out of 1 bent piece because they would not fill the entire area. if we were to bend a "U" shaped piece of metal the top of the front facing part of the mount would not contact the upper part of the shock pocket. that would mean you would need to fill about 1/4" up with welds...
